Blue Heron Charters is locally owned and has been in operation for 25 years on the Douglas Channel. We catch halibut,  salmon, rockfish,  cod, Dungeness Crabs and spot prawns. Humpback and orca whales are frequently sighted, and the occasional grizzly or black bear can be seen browsing the tidal flats.

Our vessel is the 24 foot Skagit Orca with extended cabin. It is Transport Canada licensed, insured, and equipped with GPS navigation, sonar, VHF and radar. This vessel has a private washroom and heated interior.
